GDPR - what should American based complainers think about, specifically processing and SAR's? We'll also discuss how good Information Governance can help your company comply with GDPR (PIPEDA) and reduce your overall risk and costs.

PRESENTER:

Richard Macdonald, Open Axes SME, Ricoh Legal

Richard Macdonald, aka MAC, has been in the information governance field for the last 15 years, variously as a Solutions engineer and SE manager for EMC and ZL technologies. Now with Ricoh he is bringing his expertise to bear on the IG solutions that Ricoh offer. Within the last year MAC has co-authored an article on GDPR specifically around the issues with subject access requests. As a former expert system geek, MAC also has an interest in the exciting field of AI and machine learning, looking to see how those techniques can help slim line the governance and compliance processes.
