August MALSP Meeting

TOPIC: Using Artificial Intelligence and Analytics to Streamline Litigations, Investigations, and Information Governance
In today’s “big data” environment, the greatest obstacle to an efficient and streamlined litigation or investigation is the sheer volume of potentially relevant electronic documents. In a typical case or investigation, the costs of collecting, processing and reviewing electronic documents often accounts for 60% - 70% of a company’s total legal spend. Fortunately, artificial intelligence and analytics tools are now available to quickly separate the digital wheat from the chaff and identify the most relevant documents for efficient case assessment and planning purposes. This panel of lawyers and analytics specialists will discuss the power and potential of such tools through the use of a series of real-world case studies.
